About the Role
AVIAN is seeking a highly capable professional to provide direct part-time support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Chief Engineer in support of the Naval Aviation PAE’s newly establishing Capabilities, Development, and Integration (CD&I) organization.
This role will directly support organizational stand-up efforts focused on integrating Aviation Mission Engineering, Rapid Capabilities, and Disruptive Technology initiatives into a cohesive operating construct aligned with broader Department of the Navy strategic priorities.
The selected candidate will assist with organizational development, stakeholder coordination, strategic integration activities, and engagement with Office of the Chief of Naval Operations to ensure alignment with larger Naval operational and acquisition ecosystems.
The Engineer will provide direct support in developing organizational constructs, aligning operating models, and interfacing with OPNAV and other stakeholders to ensure integration across large-scale Naval enterprise environments. This position requires a strong engineering foundation and the ability to apply technical expertise to complex military aviation systems, aircraft propulsion and power systems, and associated weapons and support systems.
