About the Role

 

We’re seeking an Aviation Integration Lead, in support of our customer in St. Louis, MO.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering design and integration of Virtual Analysis Events. 

  • Work with the event staff to derive event specification requirements from objectives and customer needs. 

  • Document those objectives and support the development of acquisition and technical documentation including but not limited to statements of work and specifications. 

  • Assist in the development of long-term plans for capability integration in a software centric modeling and simulation environment. 

  • Work with the Virtual Analysis Deputy to develop a long-term strategy for funding and implementing upgrades and improvements to add capability to the virtual analysis environment. 

  • Provide expertise in budgeting and cost estimation for execution of work at contractor sites. 

  • Serve as the focal point for contractor engagement management throughout the engineering integration and execution process. 

  • Facilitate the integration process for the modification of models for aviation systems.  During this process, document and update modeled system performance and deviations from desired performance.

  • Provide insight to determine the effectiveness of simulation solutions for executing objectives and gathering data and recommend modifications to task processes for future events.

  • Travel (25%) is required for this position.



Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field from an accredited college or university.  Experience cannot be substituted for education.
  • Experience:  Candidate must have at least ten (10) years of software engineering or software systems engineering experience.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.

Work Location:  St. Louis, MO

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
    • Clearance Requirement:  A current SSBI or Federal Investigative Standard Tier 5 (T5) or Tier 5 Reinvestigation (T5R) within the last 5 years.  A final DoD Top Secret clearance.  Eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 and Special Access Program (SAP) in accordance with SAP Nomination Policy (SAPNP) with no disqualifying security issues that will deem a candidate ineligible for access. 
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
