Junior Engineer PMA 231 (FMS)

AVIAN is searching for a Junior Engineer to support work in PMA 231 Japan Foreign Military Sales (FMS). You will be an integral part of the Japan Integrated Program Team working engineering efforts for the E-2D.

• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test or evaluate IFF systems.
• Applies systems engineering experience in, but not limited to, system design and implementation, system integration, and system architecture design to performengineering design and feasibility evaluation, component and system design engineering, or installation testing and evaluation of IFF equipment, systems and subsystems, and advanced technologies.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analysis, reports, and other engineering documentation.
• Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Education:BS degree in an Engineering discipline, physics, or math.Education substitution: 6 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
• Expected travel to Japan twice a year.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
